Bio

Formed in early 2020, just in time for COVID, the Sugarsmacks are committed to having fun playing music we love. With styles ranging from funk to rockabilly, our goal is to make people move and groove. We hail from the DMV area. Two of us – Doug and Paul – grew up in Maryland and have been
playing for decades in local rock and blues bands. Tozer is a multi-instrumentalist who sold his soul to play the bass for us. David grew up singing in churches and later found his way.
